FOR SALE SECTION RULES AND GUIDELINES

To ensure a quick and painless experience in this section, please make sure that:

1. All items for sale *MUST* be listed with a price.

2. Location of item are shown.

3. Pictures *MUST* be included with all For Sale Posts, failure to do so will result in thread being removed.

4. Titles of threads must have one of the following prefixes:
a) FS - For sale
b) WTB - Want to buy

5. Posts in this section are moderated throughout the day, but for faster responses, buyers/sellers are encouraged to Private Message the original poster.

6. Description and specifications of items sold must be true and accurate (to the best of the seller's knowledge). If you are not sure, please state so! There is nothing worse than buying something that ends up ill-fitting or unsuitable for the buyer.

7. Contact details are a MUST!

8. Each thread can be bumped 5 times, so use it wisely. A 'Bump' is when any member of the forum posts in the thread that...
(a) isnt a question or a response to a question
(b) is not an update on the item for sale
(c) is not a notification to the Original Poster that a private message has been sent
IN SHORT: If no one wants to buy your item please take that onboard and either revise the price or item description or advertise elsewhere instead of clogging the forsale section with your unwanted goods. If you open a new thread for the same item after you have run out of bumps, it will be deleted.

9. There's no need to post "free bump" "good seller" "PM sent" etc etc

10. Do not ruin other's sales by either offering the same product cheaper or mentioning your friend's ex-boyfriend's sister's uncle can get it cheaper. If you feel you can help people source a product cheaper please Private Message the seller first, inform them of the details, so that they may indeed prove themselves that the information is correct. If the individual is simply asking too much, then so be it. Likely they'll not sell.

11. All items MUST have a price an NO "make me an offer"

12. Auctions are NOT permitted. This forum does not have the facilities to hold auctions. If you wish to hold an auction, please do so on ebay (or similar).

13. Further to this, anyone posting unnecessary/disparaging remarks WILL be banned. Please inform one of the moderators of the offending post, do not retort to the post...we will attend to it.
