| Thinking of upgrading Turbo VF series, Top Mount IC (no need for FMIC), Maybe injectors..
Also looking at maybe lowering, and banging on a set of rims...
What you guys think of these rims on my WRX?

http://www.tempetyres.com.au/products_closeup.asp?part=&part_no=380 I would go the VF34 if you are going to upgrade, it will love it! Get an STI cooler, heaps better. You would have to go up to 440's if you go to around 18psi ad you will be around90% duty cycle if it only has the standard 380cc's? Rims do look pretty sweet though! would be interesting just to try some on!

| Yeah I have heard good things about the VF turbos.. Yeah will also look at 'STI'ing up the top mount IC. I run standard injectors at the moment. I run at 16psi currently, kinda a safe amount I think.
Yeah the rims look mad aye! Might have a muck around photoshop over the weekend if I get a chance!!
ACDC All the way! | |

| vf34/p20 or vf22 ftw if u want an ihi turbo. also avo do bolt on garret turbo's for rex's, which is worth looking into. Those wheels look pretty sick, that look suits wagons well. p.s. FMIC ftw | |

| @Michelle, nah no issues with the Unichip, doesn't miss a beat!
@Whiterex, yeah H have heard nothing but good things for the VF series turbos, and yeha those rims look sweet, I have a mate who has a set of bbs rims that are similar and they looks sweet on his RX-7.
FMIC, It's my understanding that I will only need one to feed a real big turbo? Actually you run one aye, do you notice any lag at all?

| I dunno, i know a guy who put one on his rs liberty with a tdo5 and it improved the overall feel of the car, more responsive and more power. | |

| It's still a. Bit of work to upgrade to a sti cooler, different y pipe underneath and for best benifit you will need the sti scoop as they are larger, bit it's still easier and cheaper than a front mount! | |

| to be honest i was abit nervous about putting the front mount on beacuse i was worried about lag, but i think it actually made the car better to drive. No real difference in lag but it really seems to come on boost harder. Plus having a front mount removes the heatsoak problem..... | |

| yeah but u dont need to change the scoop... im gettin an aftermarket tmic soon from MRT & that should be fine with the stock B4 scoop (which is smaller than the rexs)& if its still not enough, all u gota do is add some spray & ur set... u gota remember we live in tassy lol its not like we get many 40+ days 2 kill our cars... again my personal opin | |

| no but dont forget that the tmic is parked right ontop of the turbo which does tend to get quite warm. | |

was the rex modded or stock? cos it depends on the setup & if a tmic is restricting air flow, cos then yes a fmic would be an improvment. but for both mine n glimmers situation i think a larger tmic would suffice

| Yeah true DON, and Bezerk, I dunnno, If I look at making HUGE power I will swap to FMIC but for the time being an aftermarket TMIC will suit, just another question, after Turbs and TMIC upgrade I will look at getting my car 're-tuned', are there any places other than PA that have a 4WD dyno??
Also my car is making about 150kW @wheels I am looking for dyno sheet to post up but can't find it!

| There is somewhere down the huon who has one, and boost up in launceston do too. But if you spoke to Andy at Pro automotive I know he uses pa's dyno for tuning | |
