this thing has been in the works for over 5 years...basically since before i owned the car (18 months ago)...

ive had this built part by part in my head and on paper 3 or 4 times now with a range of different engine options...

so one would say i know the build inside out...

I think those plates might be fake man, I just found these when browsing for WRX accessories!

lol, i know the plates are genuine, theres no question about it...

ive had confirmation of them coming from a car that was being wrecked in a wrecking yard and also a guy that recognised them as being on a car in his district of osaka (naniwa)...both were australians living in japan...

they are custom Japanese personalised plates...just the same as we have personalised plates here...

alot of the fakes are stickers, mine is the full pressed metal and when i got them still had a small amount of wax remains from the seals that transport affix over the plates bolts prevent removal them without permission...

but yes, this is the fun part of owning them...they seem too good to be true and automatic assumption is they are fake Rolling Eyes

ive since decided to change the intake side of the engine around ever so slightly...

instead of running the t3 70mm velocity stacks, im dropping them back to sptech 30mm stacks in a nobyboth carbon airbox...changing the look of the engine bay and hopefully with a filter'd airbox rather than just filter'd stacks the engine will survive its outings off the track for abit longer...
